Nigeria’s Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar, has arrived in Sokoto State on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directives to relocate to the state to flush out bandits bedeviling the North Western region of the country.
Air Marshall Hassan Bala Abubakar was received by Commander 119 Composite Group in Sokoto, Group Captain Umar Salihu Maibuhu, Garrison Commander 8 Division Headquarters Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Alex Tawasimi, and other Air Force and Military top officials at the Sultan Abubakar International Airport, Sokoto State.
Shortly after his arrival, he inspected some projects at the airport and restrategized for enhanced operations.
The Air Marshal is expected to among other things inaugurate projects and address Officers and Men of the 119 Forward Operation Composite Group of the Air Force Base, Sokoto.
The Chief of the Air Staff also visited the Government House and was received by the Deputy Governor of Sokoto Idris Muhammad Gobir where they interfaced on his mission in th
e State.
