Abuja: Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has commiserated with the government and the people of Oyo State, over the tragic collapse of a building in the State. In a message she issued on Friday, the First Lady expressed her condolences for the families of those who lost their lives in the incident.
According to Voice of Nigeria, a building had collapsed on Thursday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, leaving at least 10 people dead. The First Lady conveyed her heartfelt sympathy to Governor Seyi Makinde and the residents of the State, particularly those affected by the disaster in the Amuloko area. She acknowledged the tireless efforts of first responders and medical teams, commending their courage and dedication in addressing the aftermath of the collapse.
