FCTA to embark on Medical Outreach in Bwari


Authority of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, has concluded plans to organize a free medical outreach for indigents and vulnerable residents of Bwari Area council of the nation’s capital Abuja.

The Administration through the Health Services and Environment Secretariat (HSES), said the event is scheduled for Friday, 13th September 2024, at 10:00 am, at Pilot Science Primary School, Bwari, Area Council, Abuja.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations officer of the Secretariat, Mr Badaru Yakasai said Services to be offered during the outreach include:

Minor surgeries, dental care

Free HIV/AIDS screening, Nutritional support and food distribution,

eye screening and free eyeglasses, among others.

It added that, free cooking gas cylinders will be distributed in support of the ‘Abuja Clean Cooking Initiative,’ along with fertilizers, to help improve farmers’ crop yields in the area.
