Ghanaians Gets Jail Term For Smuggling Cannabis Into Nigeria

Justice Akintayo Aluko of the Federal High Court Lagos South West Nigeria has convicted Nine Ghanaians for smuggling over ten thousand kilograms of cannabis into Nigeria through the sea to 72 years imprisonment.

 

They were initially arrested by men of the Civil Defence Corps and transferred to Anti-narcotic Agency, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA for further investigation and prosecution.

 

At the conclusion of investigations, they were arraigned and charged to court.
