Kathmandu: Leaders and cadres of the CPN (Unified Socialist), including Ram Kumari Jhankri and Kisan Shrestha, have returned to the CPN (UML) today at an event held at City Hall.
According to National News Agency Nepal, CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli welcomed leader Jhankri and Kisan Shrestha back to the UML. This event is part of the Return Home National Campaign, which was initiated to encourage former members to rejoin the party.
UML Chair Oli had previously extended an invitation to those who had left the UML in the past to return. It is reported that more than 150 leaders and cadres joined the UML today as a result of this campaign.
