Post: Mental Health Advocate Calls for Personal Development to Overcome Barriers in Nigeria

Abuja: A mental health advocate, Fabian Igbaji, has urged Nigerians to tackle barriers limiting their potential by engaging in personal development. Igbaji made these remarks at the ‘Unstoppable Woman Impact Summit’ organized by the Unstoppable Woman Network Africa, held in Abuja.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the network is a platform empowering women through personal development, knowledge, and wealth creation, aiming to help them rise as leaders. Igbaji explained that there is a connection between emotional well-being, personal growth, and leadership effectiveness. He emphasized that true empowerment begins with self-awareness and healing, urging individuals to confront internal barriers that often limit their potential.

He highlighted that unresolved emotional wounds could affect decision-making, relationships, and career success. Igbaji stated, “Part of healing is accepting that we do not and cannot know everything. Our personal experiences shape our reality, but they are not the full story.” He further added that viewing life as a vast puzzle, where every unanswered question has its place, can transform the pursuit of perfection from a pressure into a source of peace. He stressed that anchoring oneself in the present moment is crucial for true transformation and growth beyond certainty.

Igbaji, who is also the Lead Psychotherapist of Cyd Sessions Abuja, praised the network for organizing the event, noting that it consistently affirms its mission to equip women with the right tools and mindset. The Unstoppable Woman Impact Summit, founded by Mrs. Ijeoma Igbaji in 2023, has become a hub for women seeking growth, mentorship, and meaningful connections.
