Post: Nepali Team Off to Play in the Blind Women’s T-20 World Cup


Kathmandu: The Nepali national team has left for India today to participate in the first Blind Women’s T-20 World Cup. The tournament, a significant event in women’s cricket, is being jointly organized by India and Sri Lanka.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Bagmati Province Disabled Federation President Upendra Shrestha and National Disabled Federation Central General Secretary Sugam Bhattarai bid farewell to the Nepali team members. The competition is set to commence on Tuesday, marking a pivotal moment for the participating athletes.



Nepal is scheduled to face Sri Lanka in their first match on Wednesday. The tournament will also see teams from India, Pakistan, Australia, the US, and England vying for the top spot in this inaugural event.
