Ndikong:Adamawa: The Senator representing Adamawa South Senatorial District, Sen. Binos Yaroe, has inaugurated an upgraded mobile hospital to improve healthcare services for his constituents in the Ndikong community of Mayo-Belwa Local Government Area.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the senator revealed that approximately 2,000 residents have already benefited from the medical outreach, which included at least 10 day-care surgeries. He emphasized the importance of healthcare in enhancing the wellbeing of his constituents and reiterated his commitment to improving their livelihoods.
Dr. Jama Medan, the Coordinator of Binos Medical Outreach, stated that the upgraded mobile hospital is equipped with modern facilities, offering significant improvements over the previous version. The medical team plans to use both mobile hospitals to reach a wider range of communities and provide essential healthcare services.
Dr. Adediran Adekola, the Lead Consultant, noted that nearly 2,000 cases were treated during the Ndikong outreach, highlighting the participation of over 40 medical personnel and the successful delivery of various services. The outreach was described as unique due to the improved facilities.
Mr. Mohammed Yakamata, Managing Director of Ivbalk Nigeria Ltd., praised Sen. Yaroe for his dedication to the healthcare needs of his constituents. His company partnered with the senator to enhance the medical outreach’s impact.
Dr. Simon Kauna, Facility Manager at Ndikong Primary Healthcare Centre, expressed gratitude for the free medical services provided, noting it was a first for the community. Mr. Abalis Yoila, Binos Campaign Coordinator for Mayo-Belwa LGA, encouraged residents to support Yaroe in future elections to continue benefiting from his effective representation.
A resident, Malam Abubakar Fulani, who underwent thyroid surgery, thanked the senator for the free treatment and support provided to other sick residents. The mobile hospital and ambulance were purchased through the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, with equipment contracted to Ivbalk Nigeria Ltd. by the Federal Government and sponsored by Yaroe.
