Abuja: H.E. Paulette ADJOVI YEKPE, the Ambassador of Benin to Nigeria and Permanent Representative to ECOWAS, paid a farewell visit to H.E. Omar Alieu Touray, President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission, marking the conclusion of her mission in Abuja, Nigeria.
According to African Press Organization,during the meeting, which was also attended by Mr. Abdou Kolley, Chief of Staff to the President of the ECOWAS Commission, discussions took place on issues of regional political interest, particularly in light of ECOWAS’s 50th anniversary. H.E. Omar Alieu Touray conveyed the ECOWAS Commission’s gratitude for Ambassador YEKPE’s contributions and support for the organization’s activities. He also commended her professional and personal qualities demonstrated throughout her mission.
