Anambra SSG discloses Gov Obiano’s plan to flag-off 5 km Oraukwu/Nimo road

By Agunwa Anastacia : The Secretary to Anambra State Government, SSG, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu has disclosed the state government’s plan towards flagging-off the construction of about five kilometer Oraukwu-Nimo road, as part of efforts to create more access roads among various communities in the state.

Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu who disclosed this recently at his home town, Oraukwu in Idemili North Local Government Area, during the commissioning ceremony of a newly rented and furnished office of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Oraukwu Ward, by a Tactical Committee of Idemili North Local Government chapter of APGA, said Governor Willie Obiano had already authorized the design of the road, after which it would be flagged off.

Chukwulobelu expressed dismay that the road which traversed Ezennaja village, Oraukwu down to Oye-Nimo in Njikoka Local Government Area of the state has remained impassable from time immemorial, stating that successive governments of the state overlooked it until now when Obiano decided to reconstruct it because of his interest of the people at heart.

He however, assured that the people of Idemili North would surely reward Governor Obiano for his unprecedented achievements so far by giving him 99.9 percent vote during the forthcoming November 18, 2017 gubernatorial election in the state which Obiano is seeking his second tenure mandate.

Earlier, the leader of Idemili North APGA Tactical Committee and member of APGA Board of Trustees, BoT, Chief Ifeanyi Udokwu had identified the current recession in the country as the worst so far in the history of recession in Nigeria, but expressed satisfaction that for Obiano to have managed it with expertise was enough to fetch him second tenure.

Also speaking, the National Publicity Secretary of APGA, Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, commended Chief Ogonna Olisa, a business mogul and APGA stakeholder for accepting to host all APGA members in his compound, adding, “APGA will march its opponents word for word during the election, with each polling unit having a separate executive members”.

Chief Olisa, the chief host, in his statement, noted that Obiano should go home and sleep because his second tenure victory is guaranteed with the current strength of APGA in the state.

In their separate speeches, the APGA state Legal Adviser, Sylvester Ezeokenwa; a legal practitioner from Oraukwu, Humphrey Udechukwu and another APGA stakeholder from Oraukwu, Chief Vincent Umeagugoesi Okechukwu, expressed optimism that Obiano will win his second tenure election under the APGA platform because according to them, God has destined that APGA will win the election.
