Awka-Nigerian Army has called for the strengthening of partnership between it and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra State Command.
This is to ensure safety of life and property of people of Anambra State.
The push for synergy was announced, when newly posted Commanding Officer, 14 Field Engineer’s Regiment, Nigerian Army, Onitsha, Lt.-Col. Aondoaseel P Adeke visited the Anambra Sector Commander, FRSC, Mr CC Andrew A Kumapayi at his office in Awka.
Lt.-Col. Adeke noted that the purpose of his visit was to familiarise himself with the FRSC formation in Anambra and to seek areas of synergy between the two institutions.
According to him teamwork between the two organisations will help to improve security and safety of life and property in the state.
The sector commander, Mr Kumapayi re-assured the Army boss of the Commands’ continued improvements in healthy and cordial working relationships between the two.
“We will continue maintaining the cordial relationship for safety of Ndi Anambra and the Nation at large,’’ Kumapayi remarked.
