Benin: Management of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company Plc (BEDC) has commended the Federal Government for appointing Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu as Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH). BEDC’s Managing Director, Jonathan Lawani, praised President Bola Tinubu for selecting Ize-Iyamu for this significant role.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, Lawani also extended his congratulations to Ize-Iyamu, acknowledging her as the first female CMD of the hospital and describing the appointment as a historic milestone.
