She enjoined them to stand firm as Christians bearing in mind that God did not change in His promises to take care of His children.

Mrs Ibezim who expressed bitterness at the high rate of challenges facing women in the society today, ranging from bad government, bad economy and insecurity of lives urged them to trust in God.

The Bishop’s wife maintained that change had been the political slogan of Nigerians that had given high hopes to the people during electoral campaigns.

“The world has passed through unprecedented changes in health, economy and security within the year 2020.

“Inequality in governance has rocked our nation and exposed them to the anger of the youths protesting against government.’’

She enjoined them to always pray in times of challenges, saying that prayer was the most needful at all times.

“We have witnessed challenges in different directions and magnitude as a nation in this year 2020; COVID-19 pandemic brought with it hardships and difficulties that are still with us.

“God is always able and has promised to deliver us from such challenges,’’ Mrs Ibezim added.

She commended all participants at the meeting and encouraged them not to deviate from Godly standards.
