The Federal Executive Council on Wednesday observed a minute silence in honour of Nigerians killed by boko haram terrorists on Monday along Maiduguri-Damaturu highway.
At the commencement of Wednesday’s cabinet meeting presided by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha drew the attention of Ministers to the demise of over 20 Nigerians killed by the terrorists.
He then obtained permission form the Vice President, before urging the Ministers to rise in honour of the slain citizens.
This was done simultaneously with that of the late Patrick Koshoni, former Nigeria’s Minister of health and Chief of Naval Staff, who died on January 25.
