Cleric urges Muslims to emulate Prophet teachings

A Muslim cleric, Sheikh Abubakar Sediq Shuaibu has enjoined Muslim Faithful to imbibe and promote, the virtues of peace and honesty to gain Allah’s mercy in this world and hereafter.

He gave the admonition during this year Islamic Hijrah 1442 A.H anniversary Celebration Organised by Kogi East Ahbabu Sheik Sediq Inyass in Olamaboro local government area of Kogi State, North central Nigeria,

According to him, Prophet Muhammad and Sheikh Ibrahim Ibrahim Inyass had through his lifetime preached peace, honesty, love for one another and the fear of Allah.

While emphasising the importance of the occasion towards portraying the exemplary behaviour of Prophet Muhammad the cleric said;

“It is expected of the Muslim ummah to emulate the noble characters of Prophet Muhammad who lived a peaceful life, preached peaceful co-existence among his followers and the adherents of other beliefs.

I congratulate Muslim ummah on this year Hijra anniversary celebration and I urge you all to use this period for righteous deed and rededicate your spiritual performances to the Almighty Allah for better and prosperous years ahead for every Nigerians”

The Cleric who prayed for the growth and development of Igala-land and Kogi State at Large renewed his call for mutual respect and peaceful co-existence among one another urging the Muslim to always embrace the fear of Allah in all their daily activities.

The high points of the event was the inauguration of 18 steering Committee Members known as Mukedemis to pilot the affairs of Islam in the area, The occasion also witness the inauguration of a new mansion and new Toyata Jeep to ease the task.
