Tombim Open champion Menezes Joao will face number four seed Maximilian Neuchrist in the final of the Dayak Tennis Open on Saturday in Abuja.
The Brazilian-born Joao despatched Egyptian number one seed Youssef Hossam 7-6(4) 7-6(2) to pick a ticket for the final of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournament.
Joao who maintained his lead from the inception of the match which lasted two hours five minutes displayed accurate serves against Hossam.
Joao had beaten Markus Eriksson of Sweden 6-2 6-4 to win the Tombim Open, which ended last Saturday.
Also, Neuchrist outclassed Stephan Gerristen of Netherlands 6-2 6-1 to qualify for the final of the Dayak Open, which is the second of three ITF-sanctioned tournaments in Abuja.
The Austrian showed brilliance and expertise with the racket in the 70-minute-match.
The tournaments are a platform for Association of Tennis Processionals (ATP) players to earn points for their career advancement.
