Tertiary Education Trust Fund has introduced stringent conditions in accessing Intervention funds for public universities and other higher public institutions in Nigeria.
Mismanagement of Public funds in some government owned Tertiary Institutions led to the introduction of the conditions.
The Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education Trust Fund,TETfund,Dr Abdullahi Baffa made this known in Gombe state during the commissioning of the State University Main Library.
Professor Baffa said that the ability of the university to deliver quality projects was as a result of the good leadership and management in the university.

According to Baffa, “I must say that I am super impressed by what I have seen. For me this is the product of leadership, the quality of leadership, the sincerity of leadership and vision of leadership in the university. Once you have a purposeful leadership with vision and clear focus, you will see result
“We have been preaching on the need for institutions to construct Iconic Edifices, beautiful super structures in our tertiary education institutions and coming to Gombe State University, we have just seen what we have been preaching in practical terms” he explained.
The Tetfund Boss urged Gombe state university to continue to maintain the quality of planning and implementation of projects in the school, assuring that Gombe State University will definitely grow from strength to strength.
