The fist civilian Governor Of Osun State, Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke is dead.
Adeleke, a Senator representing Osun West Senatorial district died in a hospital in Osogbo where he was admitted after he fell ill at the early hours of Sunday morning.
The Senator who became the first executive governor of the Osun state died at age 62.
The circumstances surrounding his death are still sketchy.
Another source close to Adeleke’s family said the Senator had died in his Ede country home before he was rushed to the hospital following his health complications.
The Senator was a governorship aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
His death came as a shock to the entire people of the state, especially his fans and party enthusiasts who saw him on Saturday in Ede on campaign trail.
