Adazi-Enu (Anaocha LGA)Resident Priest, Immanuel Anglican Church Parish, Adazi-Enu, Rev. Paul Nwoye says, giving is one of the principles of receiving, as givers never lack.

Rev. Nwoye said this during the 2019 Children’s Harvest and Thanksgiving Service at Immanuel Anglican Church Parish, Adazi-Enu, Anaocha Local Government Area (LGA).

Nwoye urged parents to imbibe the spirit of giving in lives of their children and help to form their moral characters, so as to beef up their faith in God.

There is no giving without reward; therefore, give willingly from your hearts without murmuring or grumbling.”

In a sermon with theme: Giving”, Rev. Nwoye said that there was no giving without reward from God.

The cleric noted that most people did not give as God demanded from them, urging them to have a rethink toward their giving.

Give and it shall be given unto you in good measures. Those that sow in tears shall reap with joy.

Do not give to be praised or noted as some people do, for they have received their reward but give secretly for God who sees in secret will reward you,” Nwoye added.

He called on Christians to always give toward the service of God in appreciation of His numerous blessings upon their lives.

The cleric stressed that nothing given to God was too much to be compared to numerous blessings coming from Him.

Nwoye, then, commended parents who prepared their children very well for harvest and thanksgiving and enjoined lousy parents to sit up in their responsibility to avoid regret.

Songs rendition and drama sketch presentation by children added colour to the occasion.
