Nigerians have been urged to join the government in its war against corruption.
The Executive Secretary of Anti-Corruption and Research-Based Data Initiative (ARDI) , Mr Denis Aghanya says, a country that is corrupt- free is a successful country and so all hands must be on deck to fight corruption.”
Mr Aghanya said that corruption had always remained one of the problems and until the citizens shunned it, it would be difficult for them to enjoy an ideal society.
He commended the Nigerian Government for the success recorded in its anti-corruption campaign in 2016.
Mr Aghanya called on the government to expose more corrupt persons and prosecute them to serve as a deterrent to others, while advising the citizens to change from the culture of impunity to that of doing things rightly.
Mr Aghanya also advised public office holders to shun corrupt practices and pray for a better Nigeria in the New Year.
