Insurance Football Club of Benin on Saturday drew 1-1 with the visiting Warri Wolves FC at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin.
The club failed to impress their supporters all through the duration of the game, especially after drawing their last home match against AS Racinces.
Insurance FC, which failed to hit their rhythm throughout the match, scored the first goal of the match in the 60th minute through Akpos Adubi.
The visiting club however came out strongly later in the game, earning a penalty kick in the 76th minute when an Insurance FC player had his hand on the ball.
The penalty kick which was neatly converted by Lucky Imerhio saw Insurance FC coming out more strongly.
Though their efforts were rewarded with a penalty kick in the 86th minute, it was however wasted by goalkeeper Nathaniel Asibe who took the spot kick.
With the draw, Insurance FC who also drew their week 8 match against Nembe FC of Yenegoa last weekend, now have 12 points from 9 matches.
The Benin club now sit in the middle of the Southern Conference table in the current edition of the Nigeria National League (NNL).
