Abuja:The ‘Green Code, Chinese Wisdom’ International Youth Dialogue on River and Lake Ecological Governance was held in Spain and Portugal from September 28 to October 3. The event was organized by Xinhua Daily Media Group and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the event aimed to share practical experiences in ecological progress from China and Jiangsu through various activities, including ecological exhibitions and youth dialogues.
Jiangsu, located on China’s eastern coast, is known for its water-rich environment where rivers, lakes, and seas converge. In August, the event hosted UNESCO experts, scholars from both Chinese and international universities, and international students who visited several cities in Jiangsu as part of a two-way exchange. This exchange not only bridges vast distances but also helps build a growing network for green cooperation.
The concept of ‘Green Code’ is gaining global traction as more people embrace green ideas and participate in environmental initiatives, transforming it into a universal language that transcends borders.
