Kaduna: The Kaduna State Ministry of Health, in collaboration with development partners, has reiterated its commitment to improving health outcomes across the state. This was emphasised at the launch of the 2025 Joint Annual Report, themed ‘Strengthening Accountability and Evidence-Based Planning through Joint Annual Review of the Health Sector Performance.’

According to Voice of Nigeria, Commissioner for Health, Umma Ahmed, underscored the need for a transparent, accountable health system driven by evidence and reliable data. ‘This launch reflects our collective commitment to ensuring that our policies and investments are guided by accurate information, thereby guaranteeing measurable results for the communities we serve,’ she said.

Ahmed described the Joint Annual Review as a forum for reflection, learning, and shared responsibility. She stressed: ‘Every action must be tracked, every investment analysed, and every outcome evaluated for its impact on the lives of our citizens.’

She credited Governor Uba Sani’s administration with revitalising, equipping, and staffing more than 300 Primary Healthcare facilities, ensuring services reach rural and urban communities.
