Post: Kumuyi to Lead Global Crusade in Abuja from June 24

Abuja: The Deeper Life Bible Church announces that its General Superintendent, Dr. William Kumuyi, will lead the 2026 edition of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) in Abuja starting June 24. Pastor Edison Daminabo, the FCT State Overseer of the church, revealed this at a news conference in Abuja.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Daminabo stated that the crusade, themed ‘Christ’s Wonder-Working Power,’ has evolved from a Nigerian evangelical outreach into a global movement covering Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Australia. The crusade first took place in Abuja in 2021 before expanding to other regions in Nigeria and internationally.

Daminabo described Kumuyi as a respected teacher, preacher, and evangelist whose ministry has impacted lives through messages of salvation, healing, and deliverance. He emphasized that the primary focus of the crusade is salvation, while healing, deliverance, and miracles are secondary to the central message of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

The FCT State Overseer noted that many individuals with serious health challenges and difficult situations have testified to divine intervention in previous editions of the programme. The 2026 Abuja crusade will commence on June 24 at the church’s cathedral grounds, with subsequent sessions from June 26 moving to the National Stadium to accommodate the anticipated large turnout.

The event will feature evening crusades, ministers’ conferences, and youth-focused activities. It will be broadcast globally, allowing participants from around the world to join virtually. Daminabo described Abuja’s selection as strategic due to its central location, which makes it suitable for an event of this magnitude.

He appealed to journalists to support the dissemination of information about the crusade, emphasizing the media’s role as a critical partner in informing society. The cleric highlighted that the crusade aims to provide hope and spiritual renewal amid global challenges, including conflict, economic hardship, and social uncertainty.

Daminabo emphasized the church’s commitment to promoting peace, moral values, and national development through prayer and support for good governance. He stated that faith in God provides believers with confidence and assurance of divine protection amid life’s challenges, asserting that God’s power is greater than human threats like violence, insecurity, and fear.

He also noted that previous editions of the crusade have recorded peaceful gatherings without incidents such as stampedes or violence. The cleric expressed optimism that the Abuja crusade would mark a new phase in the ministry’s outreach efforts and bring renewed hope to participants.

Despite his advancing age, Kumuyi remains dedicated to evangelism and global outreach. The programme is expected to attract 200,000 participants from across Nigeria and other countries, reinforcing its position as a platform for evangelism, spiritual renewal, and transformation.
