The Kwara state government has closed down mosques and churches across the state with immediate effect.The Deputy State Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi gave the directive on Wednesday in Ilorin, the state capital.
Mr Alabi said there should be no movement of commercial vehicles, socio gathering and have closed down all motor parks in the state.
The Deputy Governor said fast foods are allowed to operate take away and urged kwarans to adhere strictly to the directive of state government to curb the spread of corona-virus in the state.
Mr Alabi said security agents will be on ground to ensure full compliance of the directive.
