Abuja: The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has congratulated its Executive Secretary, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, on his appointment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council. Adegbite has been appointed as the Director of Mobilisation, Faith-Based (Christians) for the council.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the commission disclosed this in a statement issued by its Director, Media and Public Relations, Mr. Celestine Toruka. The NCPC expressed its appreciation to President Bola Tinubu and First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, for recognizing Adegbite’s capability and entrusting him with this significant responsibility.
The commission acknowledged the appointment as a reflection of Adegbite’s capability and his longstanding record of service to both the church and the nation. As the Chaplain of the Aso Villa Chapel and Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Lagos State, Adegbite has demonstrated his ability to effectively mobilize Nigerian Christians.
During his two-and-a-half-year tenure, Adegbite has transformed Christian pilgrimage operations through efficient stakeholder engagement and smooth execution. The commission expressed confidence that his new role would offer him another national platform to serve with dignity and dedication.
