Post: Ndarani Lauds Appointment of Uzodimma as Renewed Hope Ambassador

Abuja: Mr. Mohammed Ndarani, SAN has commended President Bola Tinubu on the appointment of Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma as the Renewed Hope Ambassador and chief political salesman for the Tinubu administration’s agenda. Ndarani described the appointment as a good step in the right direction during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Ndarani emphasized that the appointment came at a crucial time when Nigerians are seeking answers and solutions to the numerous challenges facing the country. He noted that the government’s claims of successes in economic reforms and infrastructure are overshadowed by widespread challenges such as a cost-of-living crisis, soaring inflation, high unemployment, and persistent insecurity. He expressed that efforts to highlight the administration’s successes across various sectors, despite domestic challenges and a difficult global economic climate, are a welcome development.

Ndarani, who is also the Grand Patron of the One Nation for Asiwaju Support Group, called for collaboration from all citizens during this challenging time. He stressed the importance of unity in solving the unique challenges facing the country and urged all Nigerians, not just the All Progressives Congress leadership, to come together and offer solutions.

He also expressed concern over what he termed a disconnect between the leadership and the people, emphasizing the need for the administration’s reforms to be communicated in a manner understandable to the common citizen. Ndarani welcomed the mandate given to Governor Uzodinma to engage with grassroots communities, underscoring the importance of ensuring that the public is aligned with the government’s initiatives.

Ndarani thanked President Tinubu for the special appointment and called for support for Governor Uzodinma to ensure that Nigerians understand the administration’s achievements. He highlighted Uzodinma’s role as a significant contributor to the APC’s accomplishments in Nigeria and expressed optimism about his performance in the new role.

The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that the appointment coincides with the Federal Government’s preparation to launch its Ward Development Programme nationwide. This programme is a key component of the Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at directing micro-projects, social services, and livelihood support to Nigeria’s 8,809 electoral wards. Under this new role, Uzodinma will serve not only as an Ambassador of Hope but also as the Director-General for party outreach, engagement, and mobilisation.
