Post: NDC Logo Upload Resolves Pre-Campaign Uncertainty

Abuja:The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that the uploading of its approved party logo by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has eliminated uncertainties concerning its candidates’ campaign activities.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, NDC leader Sen. Seriake Dickson stated that this development followed a High Court order affirming the party’s approved logo, as ratified by its National Executive Committee (NEC). He expressed gratitude to the judiciary, INEC Chairman Prof. Joash Amupitan, and commission officials for adhering to the court’s judgment.

Dickson praised NDC National Chairman Sen. Moses Cleopas, NEC members, candidates, and party members for their efforts in securing this outcome. He noted that with the logo uploaded, NDC candidates can now proceed with printing campaign materials and engaging in consultations and campaigns nationwide.

He emphasized the party’s commitment to seeing the electoral process through, asserting its resistance to any attempts to use the judiciary to undermine the party. Dickson urged candidates to collaborate closely with the party at all levels, warning against any actions that could compromise collective efforts.

Furthermore, he cautioned members against propaganda, misinformation, and rumors intended to create divisions within the party. He affirmed the NDC’s foundation on vision, dedication, and commitment to democratic ideals, pledging to continue defending Nigerians’ democratic rights and promoting multiparty democracy.

Dickson encouraged all candidates to freely communicate their messages to Nigerians across the country without fear of intimidation.
