The New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) Nigeria, will commence the Good Governance Tour on Saturday in Lagos, the South Western Zone of the Country in furtherance of consultations with critical stakeholders in the affairs of the Agency.
The National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer, NEPAD Nigeria, Princes Gloria Akobundu, will flag off the tour in Lagos.
The Good Governance Tour, is a platform initiated by the Agency to drive NEPAD programmes and activities to the grassroots through States.
The vision of the Tour is to capture the 4R-Agenda strategy to Re-position, Re-brand, Re-align and Re-launch NEPAD Nigeria at home and in the continent.
The NEPAD CEO, is expected to visit the South West Zone to consult with NEPAD stakeholders in the region and to drum support for NEPAD programmes and activities.
While on the tour, the NEPAD CEO is scheduled to meet with the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR), who is one of the founding fathers of NEPAD, in Otta and the Chairman, NEPAD Business Group, Chief (Dr.) Nike Akande (CON) and other NEPAD Stakeholders.
