Abuja:The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Pensions Ltd. is revolutionizing its customer service delivery by bringing pension services directly to police officers through digital platforms and direct engagement strategies.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, Acting Managing Director of NPF Pensions Ltd., Mr. Muhammad Dutse, emphasized the importance of customer satisfaction during the 2026 Customer Service Week in Abuja. The company has introduced innovative channels to make pension services more accessible to police officers nationwide.
The company’s WhatsApp-for-Business platform now serves nearly 100,000 police officers, with the number growing daily as efforts to bring services closer to customers intensify. This platform allows officers to access various services without needing to visit NPF Pensions offices physically.
The NPF Pensions Ltd. has also implemented direct customer engagement, assigning senior officials to maintain regular communication with pension contributors, effectively turning each employee into a relationship manager. This approach has improved the company’s ability to identify complaints and enhance responses to customer needs.
The customer service week additionally aims to educate customers on recent developments within the pension industry. Initiatives such as the 25 percent Retirement Savings Account (RSA) equity contribution for home ownership are highlighted as benefits customers can access. Information on new guidelines and opportunities under the evolving voluntary pension scheme will also be provided.
Mr. Dutse affirmed the company’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with customers through ongoing sensitization, education, and improved communication. He also called on the media to continue its partnership with the pension administrator to educate Nigerians about pension developments, emphasizing the media’s role in conveying pension reforms and available opportunities.
