The domestic equities market sustained its bullish momentum on Monday as the all share index advanced by 0.07 percent to close at 25,327.13 points.
The market capitalisation also rose N1 billion to close at N13.21 billion on Monday from N13.20 billion on Friday.
At the end of Monday’s trading,shares worth N2.62 billion were traded in 3,854 deals.
The market sentiment was however negative as 19 stocks declined and 11 stocks appreciated at the close of trading.
Mobil led the gainers to close at N192.50k after it gained N17.50k and it was trailed by Dangotecement which gained 70k to close at N134.90k per share.
Then,WAPCO followed with a gain of 40k to close at N11.95k per share.
Conversely, CILEASING was top on the losers chart after it lost 40k to close at N3.60k,then,Guinness lost 35k to close at N13.80k and Access bank lost 20k to close at N6.20k per share.
UACN dominated activities trading 74,442 million shares worth N425.22 million followed by Zenith bank with 23,895 million shares valued at N400.4 million.
On sectoral performances,the Oil and gas index rose by 1.99% and the Industrial index grew 0.55%.However,performances across the three other sub-sectors closed in red as the banking index dropped by 0.74%,the Insurance index dropped by 0.61% and the Consumer goods index declined by 0.01%.
