NSE investors lose N22bn on equities

The equities Market have again ended Tuesday trading bearish.

Investors loss 0.17% after trading a sum of 189.01 million units of shares valued at N2,883 billion in 3,314.00 deals.

The Market Capitalisation dropped by 22 billion Naira or 0.17 percent from N13,027 trillion to close on Tuesday at N13,005 trillion.

While the All Share Index declined from 26,990.59 basis points to 26,944.32 basis points by 46.27 basis points or 0.17 percent.

Consequently, 13 stocks recorded gains while 19 stocks declined. The top three gainers and losers of the day are;

OKOMU OIL PALM PLC which closed on Monday at N49.65k per share, closed on Tuesday at N54.55k per share, gaining N4.90k or 9.87 percent, thereby leading the gainers’ chart.

E-TRANZACT INTERNATIONAL PLC moved from N2.38k per share to N2.61k per share, gaining 0.23k or 9.66 percent.

And ROYAL EXCHANGE PLC appreciated by 0.02k or 8.33 percent from 0.24k per share to 0.26k per share.

On the reverse, IKEJA HOTEL PLC leads decliners, falling from N1.13k per share to N1.02k per share, by 0.11k or 9.73 percent.

CHAMPION BREW PLC was next with a 0.09k or 8.82 percent dip from N1.02k per share to 0.93k per share.

While LAW UNION AND ROCK INS. PLC. fell from 0.71k per share to 0.65k per share, falling by 0.06k or 8.45 percent.
