The market capitalisation for Thursday closed with a significant increase of 1.11 per cent.
Trading on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange ended with the market capitalisation closing at 8.911 trillion Naira as against Wednesday’s closing of 8.813 trillion Naira.
The market capitalisation gained 98 billion Naira or 1.11 per cent.
In the same vein, the NSE All Share Index gained 1.11 per cent or 283.49 basis points to close at 25,755.18 basis points as against Wednesday’s closing of 25,471.69 basis points.
Dangote flour mill Nigeria Plc topped the gainers’ list with a closing price of N4.16 per share as against the previous closing price of N3.79 per share making a gain of 37 kobo or 9.76 per cent.
7-UP Bottling Company followed next with a closing price of N104.90 per share as against a previous closing price of N95.89 per share, gaining N9.01 or 9.40 per cent.
LEARN AFRICA Plc came third with a closing price of 86 kobo as against Wednesday’s closing price of 80 kobo, gaining 6 kobo or 7.50 per cent.
ConOil Plc led the losers’ pack with a closing price of N33.25 per share as against the previous closing price of N35 per share, losing N1.75 or 5 per cent.
Jaiz Bank Plc came second with a closing price of N1.15 per share as against a previous closing price of N1.21, losing 6 kobo or 4.96 per cent.
May and Baker PLC lost 3 kobo or 3.30 per cent to close at 88 kobo per share as against the previous closing price of 91 kobo per share.
In all, 19 stocks appreciated, 15 depreciated while all others remained unchanged.
