Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital is fully ready for President Muhammadu Buharri's visit on Monday February 11.
These were the words of the State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, while speaking to a team of State House Correspondents, who are already in Abeokuta as part of the President's entourage.
Governor Amosun, who was interacting with Journalists on Sunday, at the venue for Monday's event, the MKO Abiola Stadium, located in the heart of the State capital, said: Ogun is the home of our President and we are always ready to receive him here.
The Governor said he had to personally be at the stadium and other places where the President will visit, to make sure there are no hitches at all.
He said adequate security measures have been taken to ensure a smooth campaign rally, adding that people have already been mobilised from across the state, to welcome the people's President.
The streets of Abeokuta are already adorned with posters of President Buhari, who is seeking a second term of office.
