The AIG gave the charge in an interactive session tagged Building The Trust during an official visitation to the Osun State Command.

Adeoye said the Command adopts dialogue in addressing security issues, saying it also explores collaboration with the traditional rulers to ensure adequate protection of lives and properties.

The Commissioner listed the achievements of the Command to include exemplary community policing and effective fight against crime.

Responding, the AIG commended the officers and men of the Command and advised them to always avoid the use of physical force on the citizens.

He urged them to strictly adhere to standard ethics to gain the trust and confidence of the people.

Policemen should use minimum force only if it becomes very necessary to do that. You should always respects the rights of the citizens and do your job without infringing on the fundamental rights of citizens.
