The meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and Governors under the platform of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC has ended at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting which lasted one and half hours was presided over by President Buhari, with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also in attendance.
Issues deliberated at the meeting were not made public, as Kaduna State Governor, Ahmed El-Rufai told anxious Journalists that they were directed not to comment on the matter.
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, who also said they were directed not to disclose anything related to the meeting, however said the meeting would reconvene next week at the same venue.
Nonetheless, it is believed that the meeting looked into the issue of tenure extension for the APC executives at the State and National levels.
Another issue that might have been discussed at the meeting was the c all on President Muhammadu Buhari to again contest in 2019, for a second term of office.
