President Buhari promises employment opportunities in Ondo state

President Muhammadu Buhari has promised employment opportunities in Ondo State, with the inclusion of the state in the ongoing railway

project of the Nigerian government.

Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign

rally in Akure on Tuesday, the President promised that one million

employment opportunities would be created for the state with the

extension of the modern railway Project to the state.

Administration Successes

President Buhari highlighted the successes of his administration:

This administration had succeeded in the areas of infrastructure, agro-economy and fight against corruption.

Also addressing the rally, Vice president Yemi Osinbajo attributed

infrastructural deficit in the country to corrupt practices of the

past administration.

Professor Osinbajo said : more graduates would be accommodated into the NPower programme as well as other social intervention programs of the administration.

The Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, also speaking at

the rally, gave the assurance that APC would win in Ondo State with a

landslide victory.

The APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, in his speech, affirmed

that President Muhammadu Buhari did not only cater for the poor but

ensured the workers were paid as and when due

The APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the minister of

transport, Mr Rotimi Ameachi said that APC was focused on the

redeveloping and rebuilding the country and urged the people of Ondo

State to reflect president Buhari in the upcoming general election on

February 16.
