Abuja: Some applicants in the ongoing medical screening exercise for various positions into Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies have commended the speedy and smooth conduct of the exercise. The participants expressed satisfaction with the organized and efficient manner in which the screenings were conducted across different centers.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the screening exercise is being held at several centers, including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS). Ms Esther Kayode, an applicant for the Federal Fire Service, shared her positive experience at the NSCDC screening center, where she was screened for the position of Assistant Superintendent of Fire II (ASF II). Kayode highlighted the efficient process, noting the assessments involved physical appearance, checks for tattoos, previous surgeries, and blood pressure, all completed without delays.
Another applicant, Mr Ibrahim Salim, who applied for the Nigeria Immigration Service, praised the organization and welcoming nature of the officials at the NIS center. He attributed the smooth conduct of the exercise to the effective arrangements in place. Similarly, Ms Josephine Owoicho, initially apprehensive about potential delays, found the process at her assigned center to be well-coordinated, with her screening completed shortly after her arrival.
Mr David Okafor, applying for the Federal Fire Service, also commended the swift and organized nature of the screening. He emphasized the importance of arriving early and following instructions to ensure a seamless experience. In addition, Chinedu Eze, an NSCDC applicant, praised the time allocation system, which minimized congestion and facilitated an orderly process.
Overall, the applicants expressed satisfaction with the medical screening exercise, appreciating the orderly and coordinated efforts made by the officials to ensure a smooth process. They advised prospective candidates to adhere to instructions and arrive on time to benefit from the efficient system in place.
