The Super Eagles on Saturday evening had their second training in Faro, Portugal after Friday’s first training session.
The team took Saturday morning to rest and resumed training at 4pm.
Coach Stephen Keshi put the players through light training as they expect the foreign-based players to join later.
Media officer of the Super Eagles Ben Alaiya said most leagues are on break, and the expected players should be in camp Saturday.
“We are aware that some leagues are already on break, so there is no reason for the affected lads not to show up, it must be said though, that they are all aware of the deadline the coach has set, and that has not changed, Alaiya told futaa.com.
“The 12 players selected from the Nigeria Premier League have settled down to business in Faro, they had a training session on Friday, have had a massage on Saturday, and will be out on the pitch again in a couple of hours for the second training session.”
