Lagos:Sage Grey, a financial advisory firm, highlights significant investment opportunities in Nigeria, driven by its large and growing population.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the firm’s Managing Director, Mr. Temitope Runsewe, addressed these opportunities during Sage Grey’s 10th anniversary celebration in Lagos. He pointed out that Nigeria’s demographic advantage is a key factor in the country’s long-term economic potential.
Mr. Runsewe noted that government reforms and increasing international interest are fostering opportunities in sectors like mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, manufacturing, and technology. These developments provide platforms for businesses and financial institutions to contribute to economic growth by offering capital, structuring transactions, and developing solutions to unlock investments across various sectors.
Sage Grey is preparing to play a larger role in Nigeria’s economic development by focusing on consolidating its foundation, strengthening its business operations, and expanding strategic partnerships. The firm is planning to transition into a commercial bank by 2027 and aims to list on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) as part of its growth strategy.
The company has evolved from a three-person advisory business in 2016 to a diversified group with interests in financial services, investment, and technology. Despite challenges such as currency devaluation, the COVID-19 pandemic, and regulatory shifts, Sage Grey remains committed to enhancing its people, capabilities, and partnerships.
A key objective for Sage Grey is to become Nigeria’s leading impact financing institution while strengthening its social programmes, which focus on education, entrepreneurship, and community development. Mr. Runsewe expressed gratitude to the company’s clients, partners, staff, and stakeholders for their support over the past decade, emphasizing their continued importance as the company enters its next phase.
