Enugu:Senator Osita Ngwu of the Enugu West Senatorial District has urged Nigerians to unite and make collective efforts to advance the country’s development.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, Ngwu made this call on Thursday in Enugu as part of a message to his constituents celebrating Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary. He highlighted the anniversary as a moment for reflection on the nation’s journey since independence and the aspiration to build growth and prosperity for both current and future generations. Ngwu emphasized that Nigeria’s strength lies in the determination, courage, and collective endeavors of its people.
The senator reiterated his commitment to providing effective representation for the people of Enugu West. He has been actively promoting initiatives focused on human capital development, economic empowerment, improving infrastructure, and creating opportunities for youth development among his constituents.
Ngwu also expressed his support for the developmental vision of Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State, noting that the governor is working on transforming the state into a model of good governance, economic growth, and sustainable development.
He called on Nigerians to renew their faith in the country and strengthen their commitment to building a nation where justice, peace, opportunity, and prosperity are accessible to all. Ngwu urged citizens to rise above differences, embrace unity, and work together with courage and determination for a better Nigeria.
