Abuja: President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries to address existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service. Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, announced the appointments through a statement issued by Mrs. Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries include Ibrahim Ozi for the Federal Capital Territory, Ezemama Chidiebere from Imo State, Garba Usman representing the North Central Geo-Political Zone, and Mohammed Ishiyaku for the North East Geo-Political Zone. Additionally, Ukaire Chigbowu has been appointed for the South East Geo-Political Zone.
Walson-Jack emphasized that the appointments were made following a rigorous and transparent selection process, aligning with the administration’s commitment to meritocracy and excellence in the Civil Service. She urged the new appointees to utilize their experience and expertise to enhance service delivery and support the government’s development agenda.
Furthermore, Walson-Jack praised President Tinubu for his dedication to transparency, meritocracy, and professionalism within the Civil Service.
