Tinubu Appoints Rinsola Abiola as CLTC Director-General, Nasir Ja’oji as Senior Special Assistant


Abuja: President Bola Tinubu has appointed Ms. Rinsola Abiola as the Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC). This significant appointment was made public by Presidential Spokesperson, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, in a statement released on Monday.



According to News Agency of Nigeria, Abiola, who is an expert in strategic communications and government relations, had previously been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership in November 2023. Rinsola Abiola is notably the daughter of the late MKO Abiola, the winner of Nigeria’s 1993 June 12 presidential election.



In addition to Abiola’s appointment, Mr. Onanuga also confirmed the appointment of Nasir Ja’oji as the Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership. Ja’oji brings experience from his previous role as Special Adviser on Mobilisation to the Kano State Governor and as a member of the Coordinated Arewa Youth Groups’ Governing Council.



Ja’oji is recognized for his advocacy in youth and women’s empowerment, as well as community development, which aligns with his new responsibilities in the administration.
