Dr. Abiodun Essiet, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on Community Engagement (North Central), stated that discussions were focused on finding lasting solutions to insecurity in the region. Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai, SSA to the President on Community Engagement (North West), expressed concerns about the impact of illegal mining on regional insecurity. He shared efforts to address the issue of out-of-school children by enrolling them into primary schools and providing necessary educational materials.
Chioma Nweze, SSA to the President on Community Engagement (South East), spoke of the establishment of a Citizens’ Assembly to facilitate communication between citizens and the Federal Government. She praised the President for ongoing road construction projects and the appointment of key ministers from the region.
Moremi Ojudu, SSA to the President on Community Engagement (South West), noted that the President emphasized the importance of National Identification Number (NIN) registration to enhance Nigeria’s data systems.
