The Gbong Gwom Jos, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, has urged the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, to come up with a national agenda that will unite Christians in the country.
The Royal father made the call when the FRCN, NTA and VON joint committee on Service of Nine Lessons and Carol paid him a courtesy visit in his palace in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
As Christians in Nigeria, we are responsible for what happens to us because we have not been able to speak with one voice, he said.
According to the Traditional Ruler, the the National Carols is an outreach programme that should be sustained and improved upon for the unity of the church in Nigeria and the propagation of the gospel.
Da Gyang Buba called on CAN to provide a structure and means of funding for the National Carol to ensure that it is sustained.
Earlier, chairman of the 2019 Service of Nine Lessons and carol, Mr Edwin Agu, commended the royal father for his support to the church.
He said the committee was in his palace to personally invite him for the programme, as well solicit for his support to ensure the success of the programme.
