Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo is one of the leaders attending an emergency meeting of Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, holding on Saturday in Lome, the capital city of Togo.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande said in a statement that the meeting is to take stock on developments in Guinea-Bissau.
He said ECOWAS leaders would receive a report on the situation, deliberate on the presentation and issue a communique at the end of the meeting.
Professor Osinbajo, who is accompanied to the meeting by Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, is expected back in Abuja later today.
