Post: Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry Expresses Condolences Over Ondo Plane Crash


Igbokoda:The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has expressed condolences to President Bola Tinubu, the Armed Forces, and the families of the victims of the plane crash in Ondo.



According to News Agency of Nigeria, Chief Emeka Obegolu, President of ACCI, conveyed his sorrow over the tragic incident that occurred in Igbokoda, Ondo. The crash involved a Nigerian Air Force aircraft near the naval base area in Ilaje Local Government Area, resulting in the loss of military personnel, family members, and crew.



Obegolu described the crash as a painful loss for the nation and extended condolences to President Tinubu, the Chief of Defence Staff, and the Chief of Naval Staff. He also expressed sympathy to the Nigerian Armed Forces and the bereaved families affected by the tragedy.



In his message, Obegolu highlighted the deepened grief due to the deaths of military personnel and their family members. He offered heartfelt condolences to families who lost loved ones, particularly those related to the affected military personnel, and prayed for strength and fortitude for the bereaved.



He praised the efforts of relevant authorities and emergency responders in the aftermath of the crash and called for a thorough investigation into its cause to prevent future occurrences. Obegolu urged Nigerians to keep the bereaved families, Armed Forces, and the nation in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, noting the loss as a reminder of the sacrifices made by Nigeria’s security forces and their families in service to the nation.
