Abuja:The Government and people of Bangladesh have extended their warmest congratulations to Nigeria as the country celebrates its 66th Independence Anniversary.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the High Commission of Bangladesh in Nigeria conveyed this message in a statement, emphasizing the longstanding friendship between the two nations. This relationship is rooted in common values and mutual respect, with cooperation expanding in trade, energy, development, and other areas of shared interest.
The statement noted that Bangladesh and Nigeria share common perspectives and values, particularly within international forums such as the United Nations, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, and the Non-Aligned Movement. The mission reaffirmed Bangladesh’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and working with Nigeria towards a prosperous, inclusive, and equitable future.
