The equities market returned to positive territory on Tuesday as the all-share index gained 0.62% to close at 96,802.80 points ,596.95 points higher than Monday’s 96,205.85 points.
In like manner, the market capitalisation also rose by N344 billion to close at N55,626 trillion from N55,282 trillion recorded on Monday.
Market sentiment was also positive with 31 gainers and 19 losers.
The day closed with a total of 400.54 million shares worth N11.42 trillion traded in 12,240 deals.
Skye Shelter Fund led the gainers with 9.98% gain to close at N163.15k. RT Briscoe followed closely with 9.93% price appreciation closing at N3.10k then Caverton Offshore Support Group rose by 9.77% to close at N1.91k.
The top three losers for the day were Learn Africa with 9.69% loss closing at N3.73k,and was followed by The Initiates with 6.77% loss and a closing price of N1.79k while Japaul Gold and Ventures dropped by 6.67% to close at N2.52k.
The highest volume of traded shares went to Oando with 58.5 million shares follo
wed by Access Holdings with 30.4 million traded shares.
