Post: Novelty Youth Development Association Launches Digital Literacy Fund


Abuja:The Novelty Youth Development Association (NOYDA) has launched a Digital Literacy Lab Fund and recognized distinguished Nigerians, institutions, and organizations for their contributions to community development, peace, security, and youth empowerment.



According to News Agency of Nigeria, the event, themed ‘Celebrating Service, Investing in the Future,’ also included the NOYDA Excellence and Digital Empowerment Awards. NOYDA Chairman, Mr. Nartins Azege, emphasized the association’s commitment to empowering youth through voluntary service and impactful community initiatives.



The Digital Literacy Lab Fund aims to provide young people and residents with computers, digital literacy training, and essential technology resources. Azege expressed gratitude to the Apo Legislative Quarters Zones A and B Residents’ Association for their support of the association’s community development efforts and acknowledged the award recipients for their dedication to community service.



Senator Osita Izunaso, represented by Mr. Uche Nwosu, praised NOYDA’s contributions to community development and youth empowerment. Former Senator Lawal Shuaibu encouraged young people to pursue entrepreneurship and skills acquisition. Additionally, Mr. Usman Balkore, a former House of Representatives member, commended NOYDA’s achievements and the collaborative efforts to build a strong and resilient community.



CSP Ali Johnson, represented by ASP Yusuf Filibus, applauded NOYDA’s support for peace and order, affirming the Nigerian Police’s commitment to protecting lives and property. NOYDA’s initiatives include estate sanitation, road safety projects, adult literacy programs, access control support, and conducting the first census of Apo Legislative Quarters Zones A and B.
